Kiesha Collins, MA, LPC-S, LCPC, CMHC.

Trauma therapy for neurodivergent adults — the kind of trauma that started early and went on for years, rather than the kind with a single date attached.

I'm a trauma specialist and a fellow neurodivergent human, which means I've sat on both sides of this. Expect curiosity, warmth, and probably some humour — the work goes better when it feels like two actual people in a room.

I meet you where you are and we work toward where you want to go. No cookie-cutter treatment plans, no one-size-fits-all homework. Healing is rarely linear, and for neurodivergent minds it almost never looks the way the textbooks describe.

Who I work with

Where this tends to land.

Complex and developmental trauma

The kind that started early and went on for years. Where the question isn't "what happened that day" but "what did I have to become to get through all of it, and who am I underneath that."

Neurodivergent adults

Quirky, out-of-the-box thinkers — brains wired for depth, intensity, and feeling everything fully. Adults working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity exploration, and life transitions.

Non-ordinary state experiences

People making sense of altered states, including difficult ones. Western culture gives us almost no framework for weaving those back into ordinary life, and that's often where I'm most useful.

Spirituality, if it matters to you

We look at the whole picture: mental, emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual. Whatever feels important is welcome in the room — including astrology, tarot, or energy work, if those are part of how you make meaning.

How I work

What a session actually looks like.

I draw on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing, and I bring in creative work when words feel too small for what you're carrying.

What you can count on from me: I'll tell you what we're doing and why, I'll follow your pace rather than a protocol, and I'll say plainly when something isn't working so we can try another way.

Training and credentials

For clinicians

Clinical supervision.

I'm a board-approved clinical supervisor in Arizona and Utah, working with associate-level counselors accruing hours toward independent licensure.

Supervision with me looks a lot like my therapy: I'll tell you what we're doing and why, follow your development rather than a checklist, and say plainly when something needs attention. Particularly suited to associates building a trauma-focused, somatic, or neurodivergent-affirming practice, and to neurodivergent clinicians who have had supervision that didn't account for how they actually work.

Details and current openings are on the supervision section of the main site.

Outside the office

I travel when I can, play in D&D campaigns, sit in the sun whenever it's offered, and have watched more of the RuPaul's Drag Race franchise than is strictly defensible. Astrology, tarot, human design, and a healthy respect for perimenopausal rage. I grew up an Army brat, so I never quite learned the art of settling down — hence all the state licences.
