Ogden, Utah · In person and online across Utah
Therapy for adults who have spent a long time feeling uneasy in their own existence — masking well enough, pushing through, appearing fine.
You may have been the one who was easy to have around. Quick to read a room, quick to adjust, quick to make yourself smaller when something needed smoothing over. It worked. It also cost something, and the bill tends to arrive later — as exhaustion, as a body that feels far away, as a life that looks fine from outside and feels borrowed from inside.
Therapy here starts from the assumption that you already contain what you need. My work honours your strengths while gently challenging ways of being that no longer serve you.

Who I work with
Leaving a religion, a political movement, or a community that asked for more of you than it gave back. That work holds grief, relief, anger, uncertainty, rebuilding trust in your own judgement, and working out what meaning looks like now.
In Utah this is common and still oddly lonely. You may be the only person at the table who left, or the only one who stayed while questioning.
ADHD, and people who experience themselves as highly sensitive, intensely feeling, creatively wired, unconventional, or worn out by trying to fit expectations that never felt natural. Including people still working out whether any of this applies to them.
Sessions run at your pace. Eye contact is optional, stimming is welcome, silence is allowed, and we can change direction mid-sentence when your brain does.
The specific tiredness that comes from years of performing steadiness. Often alongside chronic illness, chronic pain, grief, or a life transition that moved faster than you did.
LGBTQ+, trans and non-binary, polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous, kink-aware. Clients have described me as open-minded, pleasure-positive, calm, and curious.
Member, The LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah.
How I work
I draw from somatic and body-based counselling, expressive and creative approaches, and experiential work — because growth often happens through reconnecting with the body, imagination, values, and the parts of ourselves that learned to stay quiet in order to get by.
A session may include conversation, body awareness, creative exploration, practical strategies, reflection, and gentle experimentation. Always shaped around your goals rather than a predetermined idea of who you should become. You will never be asked to perform insight you don't have yet.
I offer preparation and integration support as part of longer-term therapy, and can sit with clients during ketamine- or cannabis-assisted sessions arranged through their own licensed medical provider. My role is presence, reflection, and integration — I don't prescribe, administer, source, direct, or advise on medication use of any kind.

Outside the office
I collect art supplies and make things — usually sculpture, usually built from used or found objects. I gravitate toward anything with music in it: concerts, drum circles, ecstatic dance. I'm also on a quest for the best burrito in Ogden, and recommendations are welcome.
